WHAT THE HECK IS ROLLER DERBY?

Roller derby is a competitive sport played on roller skates. The Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) is the leading flat track roller derby organization, making and revising all the rules and regulations of most modern roller derby. While there are other roller derby organizations out there, St. Chux Derby Crew is registered as a WFTDA team.

KEEP IT SAFE

Before the game starts, all players have to be in the right gear. Every player needs a sturdy helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, extra thick knee pads, and a mouth guard to keep those pearly whites intact. Roller derby is played exclusively on quad style roller skates, but you might see a referee on roller blades at times!
